Social Responsibility

          The main goal of Social Responsibility is to reduce the negative risks and create a positive both direct and indirect benefits from the business operations to society and environment. Therefore, most of businesses focus on the operational process to cover important of inside and outside issues in the organisation.Hence, there are major 7 issues namely; Corporate Governance, Fair Operation Practices, Human Rights, LabourPractices, Consumer Issue, Community Involvement and Development and The Environmental.
          Corporate Governance supports businesses to determine the objectives and goals including methods, processes and procedures for achieving its goal. Moreover, it covers the performance measurement which is beneficial to the businesses and fairly treated to stakeholders. It will direct the business to growth and stability simultaneously on service of the community, environment and the benefits of the society in those business operating.

          Fair Operating Practices means an importance in respect for law and rules of law on an ethical business operation with other organisationincluding the government, business partners, suppliers, contractors, customers, and competitors. Adherence to ethical standards, accuracy, honesty, transparency, equality and responsibility should be acceptance on examination which consists of the following issues :
           1. Fair competition
           2. Promoting social responsibility in value chain
           3. Respect for property rights
           4. Responsibility political involvement

          Human Rights. Here the organisation promotes and protects the rights and freedoms of individuals. The equal treatment and fundamental respect of human dignity, regardless of identity, origin, nationality, race, ethnicity, religion, language and social status. Awareness about other lives and caring for other's happiness or suffering as well as helping each other when facing problems in order to maintain credibility and trust in business relationship.

          Business practice is one of the important roles in showing social responsibility with respect to human values and human rights principles, both within the organization and outside the organization.

           Labor Practices defines respect and treatmentthe employees in accordance with work-related laws and ethics which all policies and operations related to workwithin the organisation, by the organisationor on behalf of the organisation. The most important part of business in the economic and social responsibility is to create jobs, pay wagesand compensationto contribute the justice, stability and peace in society.
Labor Practices considered as one of social responsibility which consists of the following issues:
          1. Respect for work rights according to human rights
          2. Protection of working conditions to employee
          3. Protection of health and safety at work

          Consumer Issues details responsibility to the quality of products and services for consumers that the organisationproduces, sellsandserves.

          In terms offair advertising and marketing by providing product information, customer relationship managing including respect the rights of customers to provide accurate information about the organisationproducts. Therefore, in terms ofproducts and services development that is beneficial to customer, social and environment, as well as minimisethe risks from the usage is considered as a social responsibility.

          Community involvement and development. According to the community and society who are related parties to the business operation, the organisationshould pay an attention on responsibility through participation in various aspects. Community development is defined not only charity donations but also promoting self-reliance of sustainable communities by participating in the development activities such as youth development, collaboration with local communities to improve the life quality, support resources for long-term development and environmental preservation.
           The Environment means realization of the consequences from business decisions and operations in the respect of resource consumption, business location, pollution and wastes including the impact of the organisation'soperations on natural habitats of plants and animals. Therefore, environmental management is one of social responsibility which consists of the following issues:
          1. Prevention of pollution 
          2. Sustainable resource use 
          3. Climate change mitigation and adaptation
          4. Protection of environment, biodiversity and restoration of natural habitat
